Reshma Dhillon Kramer graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History. She trained in mammalian osteology at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Her interests include parallels between the myths of ancient Greece and the East, Greek and Latin literature, Greek cultural identity, cultural diaspora during the Hellenistic period, classical reception, translation studies, interbreeding of Neanderthals, 18th and 19th century English literature, and the Georgian era.
Of Dionysus' four provinces, wine is the most dominant; it often spills over into the other three. Drunkenness can cause violence and dementia (Plato Leges 2. 773d, μαινόμενος οἰ̑νος). Dionysus and Shiva I was under the impression that Dionysus was the Greek precursor of Krishna. But, deeper analysis of character and life events of Dionysus shows that he was the Greek format of Hindu God Shiva.
